International immunosuppression & Transplant Skin Cancer Collaborative

Founded in 2001, the International immunosuppression & Transplant Skin Cancer Collaborative (ITSCC) is an organization of dermatologic surgeons, clinicians and researchers from multiple disciplines dedicated to advancing the care and understanding of skin cancer in organ transplant recipients, who are up to 65 times more likely to develop skin cancer as a result of intense immunosuppressive regimens.

The mission of the organization is to integrate and support basic scientific and clinical research to address the special needs of immunosuppressed patients and organ transplant recipients with skin cancer in order to improve quality of care; and to educate patients, scientists, primary care doctors and specialist physicians on the unique needs and clinical care issues in immunosuppressed and transplant patients.
