Mission: The mission of AAMSE is to advance the profession, and professionalism, of Medicine by enhancing and recognizing the talent and work of Medical Society Executives. AAMSE exists to serve its membership, and through its members, their medical societies and ultimately the physicians they serve.

AAMSE will accomplish this mission by focusing on the highest priority issues facing physicians and medical societies and addressing them through the gathering and communication of knowledge, innovative education, serving as a convener and collaborator that maximizes opportunity for networking, and recognizes outstanding achievement.

Members: AAMSE has 824 members comprised of CEOs and staff specialists from over 336 county, state, national and specialty medical societies throughout the country. Affiliate Membership is open to consultants to medical societies, executives working for medical association related organizations, and PRO executives.
