The mission of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology is the advancement of the knowledge and practice of allergy, asthma and immunology for optimal patient care:

• Ensure adequate compensation for allergist/immunologists (faculty salaries, compensation for research, compensation for patient care).

Members: Established in 1943, the Academy has more than 6,000 members in the United States, Canada and 60 other countries. Membership includes allergists, clinical immunologists, allied health professionals, and other physicians with a special interest in allergy.
