The following position descriptions are intended to give
you a general understanding and overview of the career opportunities within

Client Executives
- Responsible for the daily oversight and development of the association
- Staff management, development and training
- Fiscal responsibility for all client activities, budget preparation,
explanation and development
- Contract development and negotiation with service providers as necessary
- Daily correspondence and contact with Board of Directors and Councils,
and on their behalf with leadership and outside vendors
- Assist in providing support of client publications
- Management of all projects to assure consistent, comprehensive understanding
and identity of the association
Meeting Planners
- Manage planning, logistics, and on-site coordination of meetings and
educational programs
- Research and recommend potential future meeting sites (including collecting
proposals, conducting site visits and reviewing contracts)
- Manage meeting operations and logistics
- Develop and maintain relationships with meeting service vendors
Membership Coordinators/Managers
- Coordinate membership marketing functions and coordination of dues
invoicing processes
- Coordinate membership application process and maintain membership
files
- Manage reference materials and fulfillment as needed
Program Managers/Coordinators
- Assist with the development and coordination of meeting programs (Symposia,
Committee Workshops, Interest Sections, Seminars, etc.) under the direction
of the association's committees
- Staff Liaison for client programs
- Provide work direction to appropriate administrative assistants if
applicable
Administrative Assistants
- Provide overall administrative support and coordination to the association:
responsibilities include copying, faxing, maintaining computer and manual
files, coordinating mailings, drafting letters, minutes and correspondence,
and assisting with meeting preparations
- Answer informational calls
- Assist with proofreading, filing, writing and coordinating mailing
for various program materials
